Neither of the collaborative lists is included, but otherwise the order of options appears faithful to the playlists listed at the left. You can see the collaborative ones at the far left (2 of them) and then the list of playlists that I can add to at the right. I have attached a screenshot showing my attempt to add to a collaborative playlist. Within a couple of weeks, the display when clicking "add to playlist" changed, and it no longer even displays friends' collaborative playlists as an option (it used to display them but not allow me to add to them). Then miraculously, about a month ago, I was able to add to one and was pretty excited about it unfortunately, it was short-lived. I'm joining this trouble-shooting thread because the inability to add songs to my friends' collaborative playlists with my Chromebook has been frustrating me for a few years now.

  • Can't add a song to friend's collaborative playlis.
  • If they can't get their act together, there's no point in continuing to use the service, and certainly not to continue to fund the incompetence behind its development and testing. There are literally thousands of people on their forums reporting the same issues week after week, and they continue to recycle the same answers (disable vpn, disable security, disable popup blocking, etc.) and then marking those bugs as "Fixed: Verified", when people come back and continue to report these issues are NOT being fixed. This is infuriating, for a Premium service I pay for monthly.
  • Multiple versions of multiple browsers, same.
  • Widevine plugin current and enabled? Check.
  • I've also restarted each device, launched clean, same story.
  • I also logged every Spotify device/account out through my account.
  • Be sure to know that this does not mean that your Idea has been declined by Spotify.
  • I've also tried changing my password, logging out, back in. Hey aoifjsiogsrhg2 Your Idea has been submitted a while ago, and unfortunately hasn't gathered enough votes (50 votes within 3 months) to keep it active in the Exchange.

This fails on Firefox on Linux, macOS Big Sur (Intel MBP), macOS Monterey (M1 MBP), my Android and my iPhone. The player continues to play as if nothing is wrong, seconds are counting down, but there is no sound at all. The symptom is I click on a song I want to play, Spotify scrolls from that song down 6 additional songs and starts playing that 7th song, but only for 9 seconds. This fails on every platform I have, with no other accounts logged in at the time. To start a collaborative playlist, begin by opening up your Spotify client on a PC, Mac, or a compatible mobile device. I'm running into this now too, and have followed the forums and posts suggesting to disable my firewall (no!) disable any use of VPN (none), reinstall the app (web player in a browser?), clear cache (come on!), allow popups (none are offered), disable ad blocker (also no), and so on. Thanks to Spotify’s collaborative playlist feature, you can be sure that no matter what taste in music might suit the mood best, everyone will get their say.

I was right to be hesitant- it worked for hours and then started with a new problem playing no audio for majority of random songs + the app says all content is unavailable + now this original issue is happening on my android too. Good luck, I know it's been a few days since this was posted and I hope you can resolve this frustrating issue! Which is a new issue so I guess I've just traded but I'll take it. However now I've had a handful of short tracks (under 1m) cut audio out at the same time mark, only to start playing before the end. Anyway- what finally worked for me was to sign out of all devices (you can do that in your profile). Liked the song I wanted to add, which placed it in my. Liked the Playlist by clicking the heart next to Play, which placed it in my library and displayed it in the sidebar. I took a bit of experimenting but here was what I did: 1.

The PC is new and this issue didn't occur the first few weeks. I just added a song to a Collaborative Playlist using my Win 10 laptop, Spotify for Windows 1.1.74.631.g0b24d9ad.

I have never had this issue with my android and have used it for years on there. Mine stopped at 9sec every few songs at least on the web browser and PC app. I'm hesitant to say I have finally fixed this issue after weeks of trying to figure it out.
